Last week’s AEW Dynamite indicated a tough time for Mina Shirakawa, as her efforts of challenging Mariah May for the AEW Women’s World Championship went in vain.

In her conversation with Denise Salcedo recently, Shirakawa gave some heartfelt reflections on the match. She expressed,

“The main event at AEW Dynamite was a huge challenge for me. Being a part of a live main event is something many girls aspire to do. The pressure and stress were immense, but I pulled through. Despite the loss, my heart was crushed more over the betrayal from Mariah May. We had developed a strong relationship during our time in Japan, and I never anticipated our bond to be severed. Though it broke my heart, I understand that we are now on opposing sides. My goal now is to defeat her in our future bouts.”

Meanwhile, Will Ospreay has important fights ahead at the AEW Continental Classic.

Sporting an undefeated streak in the tournament, Ospreay shared his nerves on Twitter about his upcoming fights with Darby Allin and Ricochet. His words were,

“It’s going to be a challenging week as I push to reach the final of the C2.”

“I’ve already secured 6 points, there are still 9 more points to be won.”

“This week is crucial for @AEW.”

“On 12/18 at #AEWDynamite in Washington D.C., I face Darby Allin.

“On 12/21 at #AEWCollision in New York, my opponent is Ricochet.”

The post was retweeted by Ricochet, who retorted, “Appreciate the love, mate. However, you won’t obtain 3 points from me so easily. See you in New York.”
