2K Games has announced that they will be launching The Pat McAfee Show DLC for WWE 2K24 tomorrow. The new downloadable content will feature Pat McAfee and his squad from the show as characters that players can control.
The release of the new DLC has ignited a playful “feud” between WWE and the team of the Pat McAfee Show. WWE’s Shawn Michaels even issued a challenge to them to go head to head with four NXT talents.
Michael Cole, another WWE icon, joined the fray, bantering with his RAW broadcast colleague in good humor.
“‘2 NXT LEGENDS’ says the jerk @PatMcAfeeShow. Unbelievable that he and his clueless gang are in WWE2K,” Cole tweeted.
In response to these antics, NXT star Karmen Petrovic sent out a tweet saying, “Heaven forbid that fans want to play as wrestlers in a wrestling game 😉 & show some respect for #WWENXT”.
