Professional wrestler Ash By Elegance, previously known as Dana Brooke in WWE, has shared how the experience of being dismissed from WWE felt like her world was spiraling into chaos. She now fights in the ring for TNA Wrestling.
Under the ring-name Dana Brooke, Ash fought in WWE for many seasons until she was released in the fall of last year, being one of the early departures during the TKO era.
Speaking on a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, the graceful pugilist from TNA shared her feelings regarding her sudden release. She stated,
“The reality of our profession is that your fate is unpredictable… The news caught me by surprise. … The announcement was so sudden that it felt like my world was coming apart. However, I always hold on to a positive mindset and believe that when one opportunity is lost, another one presents itself.”
Shortly after her departure, Ash signed with TNA Wrestling and made her debut at the Hard to Kill event in January 2024. She competed for the Knockouts Championship at the recent TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view event but could not claim victory.
Ash made a one-time appearance for WWE at NXT: Battleground during the NXT Women’s Championship match featuring Roxanne Perez and Jordynne Grace, also from TNA.
