AEW & Tony Khan Looking To Have Ryan Nemeth Lawsuit Moved To Arbitration

A petition for a case transfer to private arbitration was recently filed by AEW and Tony Khan, aiming to move the lawsuit filed by Ryan Nemeth out of the public courtroom.

The legal dispute began on February 14th when Nemeth initiated litigation against AEW, Khan, and CM Punk. The accusations encompassed charges such as assault, contract violation, infringement of good faith, and obstructing potential advantage.

AEW and Khan have responded by suggesting that the disagreement should be addressed through arbitration. They reference specific clauses included in the contracts Nemeth endorsed in the years 2021, 2022, and 2023, which demand arbitration procedures to take place in Duval County, Florida. Based on these clauses, they assert Nemeth’s breach of contract when he filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles, urging the court to mandate arbitration and impose AEW’s attorney fees on Nemeth.

In an exciting announcement, a showdown between Megan Bayne and Thunder Rosa was unveiled for the upcoming episode of AEW Collision this weekend. Tony Khan took to Twitter on Friday to share the news.
