WWE authorities were extremely pleased with the crowd’s response to Jey Uso during the recent WWE Backlash: France pay-per-view event. The organization is now looking to recreate this enthusiastic crowd interaction at future TV broadcasts and live shows.
Fightful Select reported that the company is keen on replicating the crowd’s response to the face-off between Uso and Damian Priest. This popular reaction is now part of WWE’s production strategy.
One of the ways WWE is planning to do this is by encouraging the audience to utilize their phone flashlights during Uso’s captivating “Yeet!” entrance. The company plans to bolster this request to fans, and will create an atmosphere by dimming the lights while Uso makes his entry.
Moreover, the company is set to broadcast more instances of Uso’s theme song be played across various mainstream venues.
Jey Uso also shared his thoughts about this new aspect of fan involvement during his entrance on a recent tweet, on Sunday. The tweet read,
“Yall ain’t got no damn choice.
Fireflies are mine now.
#YeeterOfWorlds
-jey”
Jey Uso’s tweet goes to show both his contentment and a playful note of toying with the audience, serving to build more anticipation for the aforementioned changes.
