WWE Crown Jewel will return in October.

WWE confirmed they will return to Saudi Arabia for the first time in nearly two years for Crown Jewel in October. No official announcement has been made yet providing further details, but WWE aired a commercial for the event during the SummerSlam 2021 broadcast.

The last time WWE was in Saudi Arabia was February 2020 for WWE Super ShowDown. This will mark WWE’s third event under the Crown Jewel banner, and sixth pay-per-view event overall in Saudi Arabia since 2018.

Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast first reported that WWE planned to host a show in Saudi Arabia in October, barring travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He later updated his initial report and said WWE is reportedly planning on hosting the King Of The Ring and new Queen Of The Ring tournament, and the finals of both tournaments would take place in Saudi Arabia.
