On a recent edition of the “Wrestle Binge” podcast, former WWF wrestler Nailz spoke about Vince McMahon and had a negative view of his former boss. He said,
“You have to stand up for yourself. You’re not a man if you let some other person step on you and treat you like a bug and squash you like a cockroach. He owed me money. I believe if people don’t stand up for themselves, there’s nobody gonna do it. You have to do it for yourself. That’s the type of person I am. I stand up for myself and if I don’t believe in something, I’ll let you know. I’ll air my grievances. With him, people were afraid to talk to him.”
”There were many many people that just wouldn’t go in and talk to him. He would run through them. He squashed a lot of people’s careers. He squashed a lot of people’s livelihoods and people just didn’t say what was on their mind. They were afraid to talk to him. He ran into the wrong guy.”
Nailz was released from his contract in late 1992 after he allegedly attacked McMahon during a dispute over pay.
In his autobiography, Bret Hart recalled that Nailz “cornered Vince in his office and screamed at him for fifteen minutes” and was seen “choking him violently.”
After being released, he would then file a wrongful termination lawsuit claiming McMahon sexually assaulted him which was later dropped.
Former WWF wrestler Nailz recently spoke out about his negative experiences with Vince McMahon, the CEO and Chairman of WWE. In a recent episode of the “Wrestle Binge” podcast, Nailz expressed his dissatisfaction with McMahon and shed light on the alleged mistreatment he endured during his time with the company.
Nailz emphasized the importance of standing up for oneself and not allowing others to treat them poorly. He stated, “You’re not a man if you let some other person step on you and treat you like a bug and squash you like a cockroach.” According to Nailz, McMahon owed him money, and he believed that if people do not stand up for themselves, no one else will. Nailz described himself as someone who stands up for his beliefs and is not afraid to voice his grievances.
Furthermore, Nailz revealed that many individuals within the company were afraid to approach McMahon and express their concerns. He claimed that McMahon had a reputation for squashing people’s careers and livelihoods, but individuals were too intimidated to confront him. Nailz believed that he was the wrong person for McMahon to mess with, implying that he was not afraid to challenge the powerful figure.

The revelations made by Nailz shed light on the dynamics within the wrestling industry and the power dynamics between wrestlers and management. It raises questions about the treatment of talent and the fear that may exist within the industry, preventing individuals from speaking up against mistreatment.
Nailz’s candid remarks about Vince McMahon provide a glimpse into the inner workings of the wrestling world and the challenges faced by those working within it. While his experiences may be specific to his own situation, they contribute to a broader conversation about the treatment of wrestlers and the need for a safe and respectful working environment within the industry.
