Dustin Rhodes – ‘AEW Is The Only Place I’ve Ever Felt Respected’ + Jeff Jarrett Returns To AEW

On the latest episode of Collision, AEW television welcomed back Jeff Jarrett. He was accompanied by Karen Jarrett, Jay Lethal, and Satnam Singh. They had a confrontation with Sonjay Dutt, expressing their disappointment with the lack of opportunities presented to them.

Despite their grievances, Jarrett assured that his intention to seize AEW gold has not waned during what he described as his “final run.” His sentiment was echoed by Lethal, who declared that he would take command from now on.

This appearance is the first for Jarrett since his defeat by Claudio Castagnoli aired on the Dynamite episode on January 29th.

Meanwhile, Dustin Rhodes has reiterated his intention to retire under the AEW banner.

After committing to a multi-year extension with AEW in December 2024, Dustin has expressed his staunch loyalty to the company. A recent social media comment suggested that he should consider ending his career in WWE, alongside his brother Cody Rhodes. Dustin, however, dismissed this idea without hesitation stating, “Nope!! AEW is where I will finish. Only place I have ever felt respected.”

On another note, fans were treated to a throwback when Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly, aka The Paragon, made their entrance to the tunes of “The End of Heartache” by Killswitch Engage during this week’s AEW Collision episode.

Strong has a close association with the theme as it was a significant part of his career in the independent circuit and during his early days in AEW as a solo wrestler.

For those interested, here’s the updated lineup for the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite:

Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Semifinal: Adam Page vs. Kyle Fletcher
Kenny Omega, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight, & Mark Briscoe vs. The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson), Kazuchika Okada, & Ricochet
The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, MVP, & Shelton Benjamin) to share words.
MJF set to appear.
