Following Sid Vicious’ claim that his odds of entering the WWE Hall of Fame have improved after the departure of Vince McMahon, who was once associated with the organization, the wrestler who has dubbed himself ‘Psycho’ discussed his current agreement with WWE and his hopes of induction in a new interview.
In a recent episode of “The Attitude Era” podcast, he explained that he still has a contract with WWE. Sid stated, “You would assume they would offer something like that to me. I have the impression that Vince [McMahon] wasn’t too fond of me, which is probably why such an offer has yet to be made. However, now that Vince is no longer in the picture, it’s reasonable to believe that they might consider, ‘Hey, this guy is still under contract with us. He isn’t earning much, but inducting him could be of benefit to all of us’.”
He furthered his point by mentioning, “One would think they might want to utilize their resources to promote something of this sort. It could even be exciting to kick things off with this. Possibly, if I return, I could do something like a part-time agreement, maybe become a manager, or a special – I believe I had some proficiency in giving interviews. There are always many people struggling with it and if I could guide them a bit, perhaps I could help improve their interviewing skills.”
