AJ Styles, an iconic WWE Superstar, has made quite an impression on wrestling fans across the globe with his performance inside the ring. Now, there’s another promising star in WWE NXT who might be walking along the paths of the formidable icon.
Wrestling professional Tommy Dreamer recently shared his thoughts on WWE NXT’s Je’Von Evans during an episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast. The veteran wrestler compared the up and coming star with Styles, overstating,
“Man, this guy, Evans, has got the stuff. Despite being so young, he’s incredibly entertaining and has a distinct style. Just by watching him, I would say, you’ve got your next AJ Styles in him, reminiscent of AJ’s days in TNA.”
Evans first stepped foot in WWE in 2024. Since then, he has become an essential component in NXT where he clashed with ex-NXT World Champion, Ethan Page.
Recently, Evans has entered the fray for the NXT Title. He will try to add the prestigious championship belt to his resume at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver scheduled next week.
The forthcoming week also brings exciting news for AJ Styles’ fans as the Phenomenal One is set to compete at WrestleMania 41 against Logan Paul.
