In a recent episode of the “Tunnel Talk” podcast, wrestling duo The Young Bucks, consisting of Nick and Matt Jackson, shared their perspective on their current heel role.

Nick Jackson: “I believe that after being in this field for more than two decades, the usual becomes mundane and there is an urge to be innovative.”
Matt Jackson: “There’s a desire for self-entertainment, but like Nick mentioned, it’s like being at a rock concert where you want to hear the familiar tunes. When new tracks are played, the reaction is usually dismissive. However, as an artist and a creative person, I am always looking to bring something fresh to the table. For instance, when we embarked on the EVPs phase, we decided to have monotonous matches rather than performing athletic moves that usually get substantial reactions.”
