Shayna Baszler Defeats Dakota Kai, Team Ripley Saves The Day
Shayna Baszler came into Wednesday’s episode of NXT looking to cause some havoc, and she did just that, defeating Dakota Kai in a match that saw the NXT Women’s Champion submit Kai at the very end. Afterwards, however, things got chaotic, as Rhea Ripley and her NXT TakeOver: WarGames team came out to save Kai after the match.
Following Kai’s defeat, Baszler and her crew quickly got to work assaulting the downed superstar. Fortunately for Kai, help was on the way, as Ripley and her team – which consisted of Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox, and more – all ran down to the ring. What followed was another big brawl between both groups ahead of their matchup at WarGames.
