RUSH: Dragon Lee And Dralistico Could Defeat The Lucha Brothers, I’ll Make History If I Face Kenny Omega

Former Ring of Honor World Champion RUSH is currently out of action due to his ongoing recovery from a knee surgery. While he’s looking forward to returning to action, he currently has high hopes for his brothers, Dragon Lee and Dralístico (formerly known as Mistico II.)
In an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, “El Toro Blanco” suggested that Lee and Dralístico would be a good match for the AAA World Tag Team Champions, the Lucha Brothers. In RUSH’s words, their fathers’ lessons would help his brothers would beat Fénix and Pentagon Jr.
“I like those championships for my brothers Dragon Lee and Dralistico,” said RUSH through a translator. “They could face Penta and Fénix anywhere in the world and my brothers would be the new champions. The key for us is that we bring my father’s best trainings, and among those are discipline, attitude and perseverance. Our father has taught us to be the men we are today, which makes us who we are in the ring.
Speaking of Dralístico, RUSH shared his thoughts on his brother’s in-ring abilities. “El Toro Blanco” made it clear that he believes Dralístico will surprise people when they see him perform.
“Dralístico will be a great star in America and around the world,” said RUSH through a translator. “For him, this is the time to demonstrate why he was selected to wear a mask and a very important name [as the second Místico], and why he was so important for 10 years of an international company [CMLL] that was our home for many years.
“You will see a unique and different style, and he leaves his soul in every ring he wrestles. The world is going to be shocked when they see the talent of Dralístico.”
RUSH also doubled down on his previous comment that he would defeat Kenny Omega and win the AAA Mega Championship. In this interview, the former Ring of Honor World Champion described how he’s still confident that Andrade will dethrone Omega, even after “El Idolo” lost to the champion at Triplemanía XXIX. That being said, RUSH teased that he’d make history by defeating Omega if they do clash for the title.
“I’m sure Andrade will take that title,” said RUSH through a translator. “If Omega somehow continues as champion, he shouldn’t doubt what I will do to him. He needs to remember I am the first Mexican to make history in ROH by becoming a two-time champion, and I became the face of the company. If I wrestle Omega, I will make history again.”
