Roman Reigns, the former WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, has voluntarily withdrawn himself from the 2024 WWE Draft.

Paul Heyman made the announcement during Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown on behalf of Reigns. The Wiseman said,

“This is not a negative! This is a positive! Who built SmackDown since the pandemic? Roman Reigns! Who is the biggest star in the entire industry? Roman Reigns!”

Heyman also indicated that Reigns would not be returning to WWE anytime soon, noting,

“Why would Roman Reigns now want the number one draft pick spotlight when Roman Reigns is not going to be returning in the immediate future? Read into my words, Kayla. That is not what a real Tribal Chief would do!”

Reigns was part of the WWE SmackDown roster before his recent hiatus.

He lost the title to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 (Night Two) earlier this month.

WWE Superstar Montez Ford took to Instagram to celebrate his ninth anniversary of signing with WWE. Ford first signed with WWE in April 2015 as part of that year’s Performance Center recruits.

He wrote,

“APRIL 2015 —> APRIL 2024

Thank you @WWE for letting me live my dream, the last 9 years. When I first signed with WWE, I had no wrestling experience.
And safe to say, these last 9 years have been the best time of my life. My family, my kids all have seen the changes, growth, highs, lows, Lost weight, found great barber(s).

Had some people ask & say, “what have you done lately?” “You should be further in your career,” “you’ve done nothing since you’ve been here but be a husband to Bianca.” 😂😂

Yeah so, what you wife up?! lol

Smile at the negatives, and show them the positives. Keep GOD first, and PUT THE MF WORK IN.
Check my accolades, I/we have been doing this for a min, and glad to let you all know…

WE JUST GETTING STARTED.

Roman Reigns Withdraws from 2024 WWE Draft, Taking Hiatus from Wrestling

In a surprising turn of events, Roman Reigns, the former WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, has voluntarily withdrawn himself from the 2024 WWE Draft. The announcement was made by Paul Heyman during Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

Heyman, speaking on behalf of Reigns, emphasized that this decision should be seen as a positive rather than a negative. He highlighted Reigns’ significant contributions to SmackDown since the start of the pandemic and his status as the biggest star in the entire industry.

Furthermore, Heyman indicated that Reigns would not be returning to WWE anytime soon. He explained that it wouldn’t make sense for Reigns to seek the number one draft pick spotlight when he won’t be making an immediate comeback. Heyman added, “That is not what a real Tribal Chief would do!”

Reigns had been part of the WWE SmackDown roster before his recent hiatus. His reign as champion came to an end at WrestleMania 40 (Night Two) earlier this month when he lost the title to Cody Rhodes.

The news of Reigns’ withdrawal from the draft has left fans speculating about the reason behind his decision. Some believe that Reigns may be taking time off to focus on personal matters or to recover from any potential injuries. However, no official statement has been released regarding the specifics of his hiatus.

Meanwhile, another WWE superstar, Montez Ford, took to Instagram to celebrate his ninth anniversary of signing with WWE. Ford expressed gratitude towards WWE for allowing him to live his dream over the past nine years. He acknowledged the changes, growth, and challenges he has experienced during his time with the company.

Ford also addressed critics who questioned his recent accomplishments and career progression. He responded with humor, stating that being a supportive husband to his wife, Bianca Belair, is an achievement in itself. Ford encouraged others to focus on the positives and continue putting in the hard work.

As fans eagerly await Roman Reigns’ return and Montez Ford’s continued journey in WWE, it remains to be seen how these developments will impact the wrestling landscape.
