Nicole Savoy Provides Health Update After Apparent Injury At MLW Fightland

Nicole Savoy got banged up at MLW Fightland, and she provided an update the following day.
On Saturday, during a match with Holidead at the MLW show, Savoy suffered an apparent injury, and Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that she was stretchered out of the arena. In a tweet on Sunday, Savoy apologized for scaring everyone, thanked MLW for the opportunity, and stated that she had been diagnosed with a bruised sternum.
Sorry to give everyone a scare. Thank you for the messages! I really appreciate it! First, thank you so much to MLW for the opportunity! I hope to come back again! Second, nothing is broken. The doctor told me I have a bruised sternum. Greatly sorry again for scaring everyone.

It’s currently unclear how long Savoy will be out of action.
Savoy is a renowned competitor on the independent scene, and she also recently competed in the Ring of Honor Women’s Championship Tournament.
