Wrestler Matt Cardona has been withdrawn from the GCW ‘Take Kare’ event tonight as a result of an ankle injury he incurred at the ROH Final Battle 2024 pay-per-view event. Cardona shared:
“Regrettably, I won’t be participating in this evening’s GCW event in Seattle.
I injured my ankle last weekend at ROH.
Despite the injury being minor and my condition improving, I believe it’s prudent to give it another week’s rest and start 2025 strong!”

In other news, Will Ospreay credits Andy Quildan, the founder of RevPro, with his personal growth throughout his wrestling career. In the “RevPro: How To Start A Revolution” documentary, Ospreay acknowledged how Quildan’s guidance helped him learn from past mistakes. He shared,
“Several times, I fumbled, and I recognized those moments. Returning to RevPro, needing to prove myself to my fellow wrestlers, the fans, and Andy – since he facilitated my move to New Japan – was humbling.”
He added, “There were numerous instances when I felt I had disappointed him – my behavior on social media, my attitude backstage. He offered me the space to grow, enabling me to mature slowly as a young man in wrestling.”
