This week on AEW Dynamite, the reveal of a potential partnership between All Elite Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling excited many fans. Since Wednesday night, the wrestling world has been buzzing about this development. But a new report from Nick Hausman of Wrestling Inc. reveals that the collaboration might not be as extensive as it first appeared.

“From what we have heard, Omega’s appearance on IMPACT will be a one-off and was largely done as a favor from Omega for Don Callis, who is a good friend of Omega’s,” wrote Hausman. “Omega also requested that Don work as the commentator for his big title win over Moxley.”

Hausman notes that AEW President Tony Khan was on board with these two steps. Additionally, this stage of the partnership will reportedly bring the Good Brothers to AEW, at least for a brief run. “It was also relayed to us that The Good Brothers will likely be coming to AEW for one match as well,” wrote Hausman. “Omega’s appearance on IMPACT this Tuesday will likely be used to setup the Brothers coming to AEW to take on a team that was not disclosed to us.”

No matter what, fans will have to wait and see what happens when Omega, the new AEW World Champion, appears on IMPACT Wrestling next week.
