Paul Heyman is a big fan of Triple H’s approach to handling talents and creative in WWE these days.

Speaking during a recent interview with NBC Sports Philadelphia, the Wiseman commented on Triple H’s ability to focus on talents’ strengths instead of making them conform to what a WWE Superstar “should” be. He said,

“For a long time, and this is something that Paul Levesque has truly addressed as the head of creative in WWE. For a long time, so many in this industry wanted the performers to conform to their vision instead of creative people looking at the performers and saying, ‘I can tap into that.’ If you were right handed and I’m envisioning your character as a leftie, then the way the business has been run for a while, I’d be sending you to the gym going, ‘You gotta work on your left hand,’ instead of, ‘I can make this guy the best right hander in the business’ because that’s what you are, a right hander.”

He continued, “Everyone in this business was trying to make characters and personas and people conformed to their vision instead of their vision being about what greatness the people themselves offered.”

And finally, Shayna Baszler will be appearing at Bloodsport X, and GCW President Brett Lauderdale recently appeared on the “Under the Ring” podcast to discuss a variety of topics, including GCW and WWE working together during WrestleMania 40 week.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On whether WWE’s change in regime was involved in the companies working together: “Of course. Even in regards to Bloodsport. This wasn’t the first year that we had discussed stuff with WWE. WWE has had their eyes on Bloodsport for many years. For people who remember, Bloodsport in 2019 in Jersey City at White Eagle Hall, in the balcony, William Regal, Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley) and Canyon Ceman were perched up watching the entire show from start to finish. WWE has been aware of us and specifically aware of Bloodsport. There have been light discussions for years. Until there was a change at the very top, they were probably never going to become more than discussions.”

On WWE being more open to such things now: “Now that things have changed, it certainly seems like the WWE may be open to more allowing things that they’ve never allowed in the past. Bloodsport will be a good test to see how far they’re willing to go. It’s a wait and see. Maybe this goes great and it works out for everybody, as I think it will, and it could open up the door for more. I’m excited that we get to be that first bridge and I’m confident we will provide a good experience for the talent and the fans, which is most important.”

The NXT Stand & Deliver pay-per-view event is just around the corner, and fans are eagerly anticipating the action-packed card. With a lineup that promises thrilling matches and exciting storylines, this event is set to deliver a memorable night of professional wrestling.

One of the highly anticipated matches is the NXT Championship Match between Ilja Dragunov and Tony D’Angelo. Both competitors have been making waves in NXT, and this clash for the prestigious title is sure to be a show-stealer. Dragunov’s intensity and D’Angelo’s cunning tactics will make for an intriguing battle.

In the NXT Women’s Championship Match, Lyra Valkyria will defend her title against Roxanne Perez. Valkyria has been a dominant force in the women’s division, but Perez is determined to dethrone her and claim the championship for herself. This match promises to showcase the incredible athleticism and skill of these talented women.

The NXT Tag Team Championship Match will see The Wolfdogs take on Axiom & Nathan Frazer. Tag team wrestling is always a crowd favorite, and this match is expected to be no different. The Wolfdogs’ ferocity and Axiom & Nathan Frazer’s teamwork will make for an exciting contest.

The NXT North American Championship Match will feature Oba Femi, Dijak, and Josh Briggs battling it out for the title. These three competitors have been on a collision course, and this match will determine who will emerge as the North American Champion. Expect high-flying maneuvers and hard-hitting action in this thrilling encounter.

Aside from the championship matches, there are other exciting bouts on the card. Trick Williams will face Carmelo Hayes in a highly personal grudge match. Thea Hail, Fallon Henley, and Kelani Jordon will take on Jacy Jayne, Kiana James, and Izzi Dame in a six-woman tag team match. And in a Countdown Show match, Joe Gacy will go head-to-head with Shawn Spears.

In addition to the NXT Stand & Deliver card, there has been some interesting commentary from Paul Heyman, a prominent figure in the wrestling industry. Heyman praised Triple H’s approach to handling talents and creative in WWE. He commended Triple H for focusing on talents’ strengths rather than making them conform to a predetermined mold. This approach allows performers to shine and reach their full potential.

Furthermore, Shayna Baszler is set to appear at Bloodsport X, an event organized by Game Changer Wrestling (GCW). GCW President Brett Lauderdale revealed that WWE has been aware of Bloodsport for years and that there have been discussions about collaboration. With WWE’s change in regime, there may be more opportunities for such partnerships in the future.

The NXT Stand & Deliver pay-per-view event promises to be an unforgettable night of professional wrestling. With a stacked card and intriguing storylines, fans can expect thrilling matches and memorable moments. Whether it’s championship clashes or grudge matches, this event will showcase the incredible talent and athleticism of NXT’s roster.
