In a recent interview with Collider, Kevin Owens, famous for his exploits in WWE, reveals how he surpassed the expectations many had of him.
Check out some key takeaways from the podcast below:
On surpassing the anticipations placed on him: “When I first signed with WWE, I was practically informed I’d likely be confined to NXT and never really feature on RAW or SmackDown. But to everyone’s surprise, about eight to nine months later, I was on RAW with John Cena. From then on, my career took off, with participation in WrestleManias, titles, and sharing the ring with my most admired wrestler, Steve Austin. I’ve been able to provide for my family beyond what I ever imagined possible.”
On his future aspirations: “Regaining the world championship would be fantastic. I’d also love to be the star attraction of WrestleMania night two, having already done night one. I’m also longing for a match with Rey Mysterio . However, if my career concluded tomorrow, I’d still be pleased with my accomplishments.”
In other news, Karrion Kross is addressing the ‘real issue’ following Final Testament’s victory over The Wyatt Sicks on WWE RAW, with a focus on fans reactions.
Despite Final Testament winning an eight-person tag team match on RAW, thereby serving The Wyatt Sicks their first defeat, Kross is more concerned about fans and their reactions.
Kross posted a five-minute video engaging with fans who are peeved about the defeat and are ‘jumping off the Wyatt Sicks bandwagon’ and ‘aborting the mission,’ stressing that fans lack reliable idols in their lives as they readily discard them when expectations fall short.

Moreover, Trick Williams appreciates the esteemed distinction of being an NXT Champion and cites Tomasso Ciampa as an excellent example.
During a recent guest appearance on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Williams underscored the significance of appropriately embodying the title and his aspiration to bring honor to the inspiring history of NXT.
He narrated, “Reflecting on my predecessors’ achievements, it’s clear that this title came with a rich legacy. It carried weight. People commanded respect. I have to be introspective and ask myself, ‘Do I uphold the dignity of this title?’ When Tommaso Ciampa paraded around, we accorded him the respect he deserved. And rightly so, he exuded pride. In my eyes, he was the true embodiment of the NXT Champion.”
He concluded, “Even when I was still getting the hang of things, Ciampa, who was the champion then, would guide me on the path of professionalism. I respected him as the champion then, and now, I want to impact the same level of guidance and influence to those coming after me. I aim to uphold the title in the manner it deserves and be the voice of correctness, especially when it pertains to representing our brand.”
