On a recent episode of his Kliq This podcast, WWE Hall of Fame inductee Kevin Nash opened up about the enthusiastic audience present at WWE Backlash France. Notably, their energetic reactions and spontaneous chants made quite an impression within wrestling circles, leading Nash himself to drop a message to Triple H.

During the podcast, Nash was captured saying, “Whenever you decide to tune into the event, and finally sink into the moment, one question might cross your mind, ‘Is the crowd really this deafeningly loud? Or has it been enhanced because I didn’t experience it live?’ The noise seemed surreal. So, I messaged Paul [Levesque] expressing my amazement. I remember telling him that ‘The crowd was bubbling with such energy that it made a 64-year-old man want to get back in the ring.’ To which Paul responded, ‘It was so loud in Gorilla Position that we couldn’t even hear each other.’ Backlash might not have been the top pay-per-view event, but anyone who witnessed it would attest to the electrifying atmosphere,” explained Nash.
