Kabuki Warriors Retain Belts, First-Ever Women’s War Games Match Made
The Kabuki Warriors retained their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on NXT, taking down Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox in an incredible match between the two superstar groups. Things ended with Asuka being able to utilize the green mist to her advantage, blinding Dakota Kai long enough to get the win.
After the match, however, chaos erupted, as Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir all came out to attempt to attack Kai and Nox. However, Rhea Ripley quickly made her way out to the ring, staring down Baszler the entire time until she was knocked down by Io Shirai, who had run out. What followed was a handful of superstars – including Biana Belair, Candice LeRae, and many more – all brawling inside the ring.
William Regal quickly came out to interrupt the brawl, announcing that the only way to solve the issues going on was for a War Games match. The crowd erupted at the news, as it’ll be the first-ever women’s War Games match, and will take place at the upcoming NXT TakeOver: WarGames, which is set to take place on November 23.
