SCU Defeat The Lucha Bros, Become First AEW Tag Team Champions

The title match between the Lucha Bros and SCU served as the main event of tonight’s AEW Dynamite. Pentagon Jr. almost ended things early with a huge piledriver but it wasn’t enough to put away Frankie Kazarian. With help from Scorpio Sky, SCU was able to battle back into the match. Fenix hit a huge cutter on Sky that led to a near-fall, but a lackluster cover allowed him to kick out.

The Lucha Bros got a huge advantage after Pentagon slammed Kazarian onto the timekeeper’s table outside. This effectively turned the match into a two-on-one bout. However, Sky was able to hit a cradle on Pentagon to win the belts for his team.
