WWE superstar Drew McIntyre recently revealed that he had an interesting conversation with The Rock at the WWE Elimination Chamber event hosted in Toronto. McIntyre hinted at some possible exciting developments resulting from their discussion.

In a quick chat with Adam Glyn of “Adam’s Apple,” McIntyre recalled Glyn’s 2018 interview with The Rock, during which The Rock showered praises on him. McIntyre stated,

“Everything started [with] The Rock’s positive remarks that you recorded back in 2018. When I re-signed with the company last year, knowing where WWE was planning to head, The Rock [presented me] that figurative sword. He has always supported me. I had an opportunity to chat with him at Elimination Chamber and there are some things in the works that will be quite big when they are announced.”

When questioned about whether he was interested in acting, McIntyre responded, “I’m willing to consider any opportunity that grabs my interest, let’s just say that.”

In a recent discussion with Alex McCarthy from The Daily Mail, Jey Uso elucidated why the placement of his WrestleMania 41 match on the card was irrelevant to him.

Jey also disclosed when he learned that he was going to be the winner of the men’s Royal Rumble match in 2025.

Here are some highlights from the interview:

On how he was informed about his Royal Rumble victory: “I didn’t discover till the day itself. They gather whoever is remaining in the final four and we have a team meeting. Then, they ask the last four to stay back. They announce the last four and I’m in it, I’m like, ‘Wow.’ Then they inform me right there, ‘We’re going with Jey.’ I was surrounded by excitement and tension the whole day, but it’s a good kind of stress. It’s a great wrestling accolade to have and for me personally, it’s exciting.”

On potentially being in the main event: “Regardless of whether it’s WrestleMania, night one or night two, no matter when my match is scheduled. I don’t mind whether I’m the last or the first one on stage. My aim is to make my match memorable. That’s my only focus. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and who knows if I’ll ever get this chance again in my career.”
