On a recent edition of the “Women’s Wrestling Talk” podcast, former WWE talent Dani Luna discussed signing with TNA Wrestling in December of 2023, being part of TNA Hard To Kill 2024, and more.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On signing with TNA: “Yeah, it was crazy. Like you said, I got hurt and I was out for a year but other than that, I’ve just been wrestling nonstop. After I left WWE, I had a year straight of just stressing on the independents. [Signing with TNA] felt like a big deal, but cause I had so much wrestling reps in me, it’s easy for me to talk to myself and go, ‘Well, it’s easy, you do this all the time.’ You’ve kinda have to talk yourself down like that because it can be such a big scary thing, so you kinda have to reason with yourself and be like, no, you do this all the time, it’s just a bigger camera and more expensive cameras filming you, the rest of it is fine.”

On the company putting trust in her: “It was really nice, obviously I had done all of that stuff with IMPACT before I was signed, so it was great to have that kind of trust in me to sign me and obviously have me on Hard To Kill, the first TNA pay-per-view in a long time. It felt like a big step up in the right direction for me and a really nice way to get a lot of eyes on me that hadn’t necessarily been on me before, a lot of my career is based in the UK, so it felt like a big jump into a huge pool being out in America where there’s so many more people watching.”

Former WWE talent Dani Luna recently discussed her signing with TNA Wrestling in December of 2023 and her experience being part of TNA Hard To Kill 2024 on the “Women’s Wrestling Talk” podcast. Luna shared her thoughts on the significance of signing with TNA and the trust the company placed in her.

After leaving WWE, Luna had a year of continuous wrestling on the independent circuit. Signing with TNA felt like a major milestone for her, but she acknowledged that her extensive experience helped calm her nerves. Luna explained that she had to remind herself that she had been wrestling consistently and that although the cameras might be bigger and more expensive, the rest of it was familiar territory.

Luna expressed gratitude for the trust TNA placed in her by signing her and featuring her in Hard To Kill, the first TNA pay-per-view in a long time. She mentioned that she had already worked with IMPACT before signing with TNA, and having the company show confidence in her abilities was a significant boost. Being part of Hard To Kill allowed Luna to showcase her skills to a wider audience, particularly in the United States where she had fewer eyes on her compared to her career in the UK.

The opportunity to participate in TNA Hard To Kill was seen by Luna as a step in the right direction for her career. It provided her with a platform to gain exposure and reach a larger fanbase. Luna acknowledged that being in America, where there are more viewers, was a significant shift from her UK-based career.

Overall, Luna’s experience signing with TNA and being part of Hard To Kill was a positive one. It allowed her to continue pursuing her passion for wrestling on a larger scale and exposed her to new opportunities and audiences. With TNA’s trust and support, Luna is poised to make further strides in her professional wrestling career.
