“Stone Cold” Steve Austin, a globally renowned name in wrestling, was initially set to be a part of the big finale at the second night of WrestleMania 40. However, due to discrepancies in financial discussions, his appearance didn’t materialize.

However, the wrestling universe might still get to see Austin, as he dropped hints about his possible appearance at the next season’s Wrestlemania 41.

During an enlightening interaction with “Gabby AF,” the rising star Cody Rhodes discussed the chances of Stone Cold gracing WrestleMania 41. Rhodes opined that Austin, with his colossal popularity, can contribute to more WWE events than he does currently.

Cody Rhodes remarked, “Steve Austin, purely from the perspective of profit-making, is undeniably the most lucrative wrestler ever. For those passionate and keen on understanding the wrestling business, that’s the standard you aspire to meet. Along with that, Austin created more unforgettable moments than anyone else could. At a time when WWE was in pressing need, which rarely happens, Austin stepped in, reversed their fortunes, and brought fresh energy to the industry. I yearn to see him back in action, in any possible role. His contribution with Kevin Owens far exceeded expectations. If that was his last performance, it’s a brilliant one to conclude with. Owens did a wonderful job as well. But I feel Austin hasn’t fully utilized his legend status. He could just make sporadic appearances and join someone’s event. Even though he might want to stick to the top-notch levels, being a legend, he has the liberty to do as he pleases. The sound of breaking glass will have me emotional, and the next day, I’ll be checking a merchandise sheet. ‘Vegas 3:16’ outsold the Pharaoh plushy.”

The two-day wrestling extravaganza, WrestleMania 41, is all set to enthrall fans on April 19 and 20, 2025. The grand spectacle is scheduled at the Allegiant Stadium, nestled in the heart of Paradise, Nevada.
