CM Punk is now on WWE television again.
At the very end of tonight’s episode of WWE Backstage, CM Punk appeared to announce that he is joining the show. He’ll be on next week’s episode and be “appearing periodically” after that. It’s a great move after the show’s ratings were very low in week one. “It’s as simple as this: Just when they think they’ve got the answers, I change the culture,” Punk told the audience. “I’ll see you here next week.”
It’s worth noting that WWE Backstage is produced by FOX, not WWE. So this certainly doesn’t mean an in-ring return is a definite. However, it is still a major deal.
