After he lost to MJF in heartbreaking fashion last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho addressed this setback on Wednesday night. Unwilling to let his feud with MJF end with this crushing loss, Jericho challenged MJF to one more match at the All Out pay-per-view.

.@IAmJericho is proposing one more match with @The_MJF at #AEWAllOut on Sept. 5. If he can't beat MJF, he will NEVER wrestle in #AEW again!

In the ring, Jericho told the crowd how great of a week it’s been for All Elite Wrestling, and that everyone has been celebrating, except for him. Following another defeat to MJF, Jericho said that for as long he continues to lose to his nemesis, there will always be a voice in the back of his head that says he must “beat MJF.” He then asked the leader of the Pinnacle to come down to the ring to hear a special proposal.

MJF didn’t come down, so Jericho continued without him. He proposed that they should face off one more time, and if Jericho still can’t beat MJF, he’ll never wrestle in AEW again.

With the revelation of this stipulation, MJF finally to the stage, sporting an “MJF – 3, Jeriblow – 0” shirt. He stated that Jericho’s inability to leave him alone was a little embarrassing, but he couldn’t help but consider the match. Because he liked the idea of going down in history as the one who ended Jericho, MJF said if “Le Champion” really wants the bout, he’ll get it.

But MJF told Jericho to think the situation through because he’d be putting his in-ring career on the line against someone that’s already beaten him three times.
