Orange Cassidy Gives Matt Hardy A Twist Of Fate, Defeats Him On AEW Dynamite

Orange Cassidy has been feuding with the Hardy Family Office for quite a while now throughout All Elite Wrestling‘s programming slate. This week on AEW Dynamite, Cassidy clashed with H.F.O.’s proverbival head of the table, Matt Hardy.
The stark contrast between the competitor’s personalities was apparent right away, as “Big Money Matt” pulled some cash out of his pockets while Cassidy hit his signature nonchalant kicks. Hardy quickly took control wth some punishing offense, as he stomped “Freshly Squeezed” and sank so low as biting him.

The veteran continued to punish Cassidy, and he grounded the fan-favorite star for the first few minutes. Hardy consistently targeted Cassidy’s back and floored him with a powerbomb to maintain control. But “OC” rallied and dove onto Hardy outside the ring to gain the upper hand, and a flurry of offense stunned the leader of H.F.O.

“Freshly Sqeezed” mocked Hardy’s classic “Delete” taunt and went for the Twist of Fate, but Hardy hit a painful elbow drop to Cassidy’s wounded back. “OC” then countered Hardy’s signature move and dropped him with the Twist of Fate. In the end, “OC” reversed Hardy and held his shoulders down for the three count.
