In a recent installment of the popular podcast, “Busted Open Radio,” Bully Ray shared his thoughts on the departure of Nic Nemeth from WWE, which took place in September of the previous year. Ray noted,

“Nic was receiving an excellent paycheck from WWE for a long duration, essentially receiving this high salary for doing practically nothing. He actually grew weary of earning such a substantial amount and simply doing nothing.”

Bully Ray elaborated, “At some point, you decide, ‘I would prefer to earn less money elsewhere but engage in my real profession. I would prefer to actually do what I enjoy doing.'” He pointed out that Nemeth seems to be genuinely enjoying his time with TNA. “Nic Nemeth is not earning the same level of income in TNA as he was in WWE, perhaps not even close. But it’s likely that he managed his money wisely, saved it up, to afford to earn less but enjoy himself more.”

Nic Nemeth, known alternatively as Dolph Ziggler, exited WWE after a tenure of close to two decades and has since become part of the TNA Wrestling line-up.

Throughout his time with WWE, Nemeth secured the World Heavyweight Championship on two occasions, was crowned the NXT Champion, and enjoyed multiple terms as a Tag Team, Intercontinental, and U.S. Champion.

Nemeth’s wrestling career extends beyond TNA. He is also an active participant in Lucha Libre AAA and is currently in server his initial term as the AAA Mega Champion.
