Last week’s ROH TV episode on HonorClub brought news of an injury to the ROH Women’s Champion Athena. Expected to be sidelined for four to six months due to an ankle ailment, Athena was criticized by Queen Aminata and Red Velvet who suggested the injury was fabricated.

In this week’s episode, Athena adjusted her forecast for her return to the ring, predicting she would now be unavailable for eight to twelve months. It remains unclear whether Athena’s injury is authentic.

A twitter post from ROH – Ring of Honor Wrestling (@ringofhonor) dated June 27, 2024 shared a clip of Athena addressing last week’s dispute.

Ring of Honor fans can also look forward to the impending Tag Team Championship Proving Ground match which is set for the upcoming episode of ROH TV. This match will see the Undisputed Kingdom compete against Metalik & Komander.

An updated lineup for the following ROH TV episode on HonorClub was shared on June 27, 2024 in a tweet by Ring of Honor.

Updates regarding this week’s AEW Collision episode also disclosed an exciting lineup of matches, including Daniel Garcia vs. The Butcher in the Battle of Buffalo, Deonna Purrazzo vs. Hikaru Shida for the Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament Match, and Serena Deeb’s Open Challenge, among others.
