Juice Robinson, a famed wrestler, is reportedly going on an extended sabbatical due to a fibula fracture. The unfortunate injury happened during a face-off with his opponent, Will Ospreay, at the AEW Collision event on November 30, 2024. The incident took place within the framework of the AEW Continental Classic, and sources, including Fightful Select, indicate it happened during a sunset flip segment of the match.
Following the incident, eye-witnesses reported seeing Robinson supported on crutches during the WrestleCade weekend. Tony Khan, the President of AEW, confirmed this and announced that in light of Robinson’s injury, Kommander will now take his place in the tournament.
As far as future plans go, the AEW has interesting things in store for Jay White, although it is yet to be confirmed whether these plans include Bullet Club Gold. The Gunns made a return into action after Austin’s injury for a short stint but haven’t been highlighted significantly on TV broadcasts since then.
Given the extent of Robinson’s injury, it’s expected that his recovery might take longer than usual and there is no definitive timeline for his return. AEW has stated that they will wait for Robinson to receive complete medical clearance before his reintroduction.
