During Saturday’s AEW Full Gear 2023 pay-per-view event, Sting, Darby Allin, and Adam Copeland (with Ric Flair) defeated The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Luchasaurus, and Nick Wayne) in a six-man tag team match to kick off the main card.
Cage poked Flair in the eye and hit him with a low blow at ringside.
As the referee checked on Flair, Cage returned to the ring and attempted to hit Copeland with the TNT Championship belt.
Copeland ducked and Cage accidentally hit Luchasaurus instead. Cage then quickly ran away from Copeland, abandoning his partners in the middle of the ring.
The babyfaces nailed Luchasaurus to score the victory.
