While in the ring, the Executive Vice President of AEW announced that the company has signed British ex-Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo to a deal. Ogogo earned a Bronze medal in 2012 but has since retired from the sport with a professional record of 11-1.
Ogogo has wrestled several indie dates already, speaking with the local press about his transition to wrestling in June. “I want to utilize all the years of hard work, all the time in the gym, I’m very fit, very athletic and I think I’m going to give it a go so watch this space.”
