In the latest episode of WWE NXT, there were several remarkable moments. The WWE NXT Women’s Title was on the line as Stephanie Vaquer defended her championship against Jaida Parker. Initially, Parker looked to have the upper hand, but the match took a surprising turn when Jordynne Grace, seeking retribution for Parker’s previous assault, showed up. Grace’s sudden presence allowed Vaquer to take control of the match, ensuring her successful title retention.
Not long after Vaquer’s victory, an unexpected onslaught ensued. She found herself at the mercy of Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx, and Jacy Jayne, members of Fatal Influence.
Meanwhile, in another intriguing part of the episode, WWE NXT’s own Ricky Saints sat down for an interview. He talked about how his resilience sometimes created friction in the locker room, but he didn’t view it negatively. To him, it’s a crucial element in the pursuit of success.
However, the interview took an intense turn when it was interrupted by WWE NXT North American Champion Shawn Spears. There were heated words exchanged between the two, with Spears questioning Saints’ failure to join The Culling and admonishing his ego-driven errors. Despite Spears’ prowess as a champion and his noble ensemble of supporters, Saints asserted his unwavering desire to go after the title.
In a stern-moving discussion, Spears warned Saints about possible repercussions and that he had potentially closed all his doors due to past decisions.
This week’s episode also showcased the appearance of Darkstate, a powerful faction including Cutler James, Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars, and Osiris Griffin. The faction witnessed a scuffle between Oba Femi and Je’Von Evans, a feud that grew following Femi’s offer to Evans for a chance at the NXT Heritage Cup Championship as payback for a previous knockout.
The spectators witnessed a surprising turn of events when Trick Williams entered the ring, launching an attack on Evans with a Trick Shot knee. This caused NXT officials to intervene and separate Femi and Williams, while Darkstate’s members watched the chaos unfold from the audience.
Darkstate is known to have previously antagonized Evans at NXT Roadblock, and they subsequently debuted at WWE NXT Vengeance Day. There they targeted a range of wrestlers, including the NXT Champion Femi and several other individuals like Robert Stone and Tony D’Angelo. Since then, Tony D’Angelo has been on the hunt for information about the faction.
