The world of New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) is soon going to change, with professional wrestler Tetsuya Naito’s departure set to take place on May 4.
The surprising news was addressed by Kenny Omega on a recent Twitch stream. He expressed his shock and confirmed that he had no prior knowledge of Naito leaving NJPW.
Omega mentioned, “To put it plainly, it’s very strange. Strange since I wasn’t informed about it. Its sudden revelation was quite surprising as Naito and I don’t regularly communicate and sort of keep each other updated on our plans and how we’re doing. But usually, there’s some chatter, some rumors.
In other related news, AEW wrestler HOOK recently took to Instagram to announce his part in Tony Mucci’s short film titled “Money Talks”. The film, which maps the journey of a 0 note in 1981 New York City, will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.
