In an interview with Uproxx that was released this week, AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland spoke highly of Will Washington.
Since joining AEW a year ago, Washington has played a role backstage in the promotion as he works with talent, AEW President Tony Khan, and the creative team.
“[Washington is] very good at understanding,” Strickland told Raj Prashad of Uproxx. “Wrestlers, we have weak spots and blind spots that we don’t see. And it’s his job to point those out to make sure that we don’t make mistakes because of those blind spots and those weak spots, and he’s very good at pointing those out to me, so I’m not my own worst enemy.”
