Update On Brock Lesnar’s WWE Contract Status

Brock Lesnar could be very close to making a WWE return. According to a new report from Fightful Select, Brock Lesnar has been in talks with WWE for a return to the company.
Fightful reports that WWE is said to have big plans for Brock Lesnar, hoping that he can return imminently if they have things their way. Lesnar has been absent from WWE since losing the championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 in 2020. This is the longest he has been away from WWE since returning to the company in 2012.
As was reported a few weeks ago, Brock Lesnar was moved from the alumni section back to the active roster, being listed as a member of the RAW roster as of this writing. WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has been vocal in wanting to wrestle Brock Lesnar and said that now is as good of a time as ever to have the match.
Furthermore, Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast reports that WWE originally wanted Brock Lesnar to main event SummerSlam but had to pivot to John Cena. It will be interesting to see if Brock Lesnar is back in the picture. He also reports that Lesnar could be expected back ‘very soon’.
