Triple H Confirms Worlds Collide For Royal Rumble Weekend, Featuring NXT Battling NXT UK
As previously reported, the Royal Rumble weekend NXT Takeover has long been replaced by a “Worlds Collide” event. In past years, these have been WWE Network specials with talent from all of WWE’s brands battling. Since we’re just hours removed from a similar event in the Survivor Series, this sort of action didn’t make much sense.

Now, NXT Founder Triple H has clarified that Worlds Collide 2020 will be specific to NXT’s two existing brands. Stars from NXT and NXT UK will match up for a mini case of brand supremacy. NXT talent are already reacting to the news, with Bronson Reed wanting to take on NXT UK’s resident titan WALTER.
