Tony Schiavone, the acclaimed commentator for AEW, is optimistic that the wrestling company will make a comeback to the renowned Hammerstein Ballroom, especially following a string of successful shows hosted at the iconic venue.

In recent updates, AEW hosted its Christmas Collision spectacular along with taping sessions for Dynamite/Rampage at this legendary site in addition to hosting the ROH Final Battle 2024.

During a fresh episode of his podcast “What Happened When”, Schiavone shared his experiences and thoughts on AEW’s venture into the Big Apple. He remarked,

“It was the first time I’d ever been at the Manhattan Center. It was a wonderful experience for us, and I thought we gave them some very good matches.”

In the same podcast episode, when asked if he envisioned the AEW events at the Hammerstein Ballroom turning into a yearly ritual for the company, he responded positively,

“Long answer, yes, I think it’s something that we can do every year, and I hope we can.”
