During a recent guest spot on the “Battleground Podcast,” Tony Khan, the President of AEW had a discussion about the video clip that was shown on the previous Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision.
In case you skipped it, a fresh masked wrestler was hinted at. Tony Khan was quoted as saying,
“I can categorically state that the masked individual was certainly not me. This is someone we look forward to seeing more of. It isn’t a hint towards a significant free agent signing or so, but this is a wrestler we are genuinely enthusiastic about. Utilizing such video clips helps us build anticipation about introducing someone new to AEW. It’s going to be an exciting initiation and it has already got people abuzz. There will be more such surprises. It’s all in good fun.”
Past AEW Women’s World Champion, Thunder Rosa, put out a tweet today to WWE NXT World Champion Ethan Page, stating her intent to find an action figure of him during a toy hunt and plans to gift it to his nemeses for potential voodoo magic. Her tweet reads,
“I’m setting out on a toy hunt to find your figurine… so that I can hand it over to your adversaries who can possibly perform voodoo magic on your persona…”
