Dreamer noted that it might be best for Li to “go away” to rebuild herself. He said,

“I think she needs to go to ‘SmackDown,’ have a loss, and then go away to rebuild. Because where do you go with a character that got this call-up, because that’s what it is still perceived as, it’s a call-up, and you lose. And then you go back to where it started, and there is an actual better build for your match with the woman [reigning ‘NXT’ Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria], and then you lose again. Also, she lost to an injured woman. She lost to someone who was attacked, so someone who wasn’t on her game. So what do you do with this character to say that this character is a badass fighter? It’s hard to rebuild somebody like that as opposed to just going away.“

Taking to his Instagram Story, Jey Uso posted a photo of himself standing in front of a signed photo of The Bloodline. He captioned it with, “when times were good.”

This elicited a response from Drew McIntyre, who wrote the following on Twitter,

“You couldn’t make it up. And some people have the nerve to challenge my attitude towards him…”

WWE Superstar Xia Li’s Future: Rebuilding and Speculation

WWE Superstar Xia Li has been the subject of speculation regarding her future in the company after recent losses to Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria on RAW and NXT. On the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Tommy Dreamer discussed the possibility of Li taking a break to rebuild herself.

Dreamer suggested that Li should move to SmackDown and experience another loss before taking time away from the ring to rebuild her character. He questioned the direction of a character that was called up to the main roster only to suffer consecutive losses. Additionally, he pointed out that Li lost to an injured opponent, which further complicates her character’s credibility as a badass fighter.

The idea of Li going away to rebuild herself is not uncommon in professional wrestling. Taking time off allows wrestlers to reassess their characters, develop new storylines, and return with a fresh perspective. It can also create anticipation among fans for their eventual comeback.

In response to Dreamer’s comments, Jey Uso posted a photo on his Instagram Story, reminiscing about “when times were good.” This prompted Drew McIntyre to tweet about the situation, expressing his frustration with people challenging his attitude towards Uso.

The speculation surrounding Li’s future raises questions about how WWE will handle her character moving forward. Will she take a break and return with a revamped persona? Or will she continue to compete and try to overcome her recent losses?

Fans will have to wait and see what WWE has in store for Xia Li. In the meantime, wrestling enthusiasts can stay updated on all the latest news and developments in the industry by visiting eWrestlingNews.com or following their Twitter and Facebook pages.
