The reports were true—The Undertaker made his presence felt at WWE Super Showdown in a big way, as he won the Tuwaiq Trophy gauntlet match.
While he wasn’t advertised for the match, Undertaker entered after Rey Mysterio was attacked backstage by The OC before he was set to enter as the final participant. AJ Styles demanded that he be awarded the trophy since Rey couldn’t compete, and the decision was made to name him the winner if his opponent couldn’t make the count.
A video then played, showing Gallows and Anderson being thrown across the backstage area before Undertaker made his entrance, winning the match after a chokeslam.
