Here are some highlights from a backstage interview with Ali after the show:

On defeating Lio Rush:
Ali expressed exhaustion from continuous disrespect in spite of his successful performance record. He shocked at Rush’s unwarranted attack on him when he was offering friendship and accused Rush of playing mind games.

Ali shrugged off Rush’s claims of him cheating during their match and established his superiority over him. Ali wrapped up the interview by declaring that he is finished with Lio Rush and does not wish to compete with him again. He issued this as an executive order, dubbing himself the President of Professional Wrestling.
