During a recent livestream on Twitch, former AEW World Champion, Kenny Omega, offered his insights on WWE’s creative journey under the leadership of Paul “Triple H” Levesque, appointed Head of Creative in 2022.
Omega shed light on his perspectives, stating: “Everyone appears to be acutely aware of his booking decisions and those not influenced by him. Even though I am a wrestler with an insider’s view, I am unaware of his specific creative ideas and can’t differentiate between what is solely the product of his creative imagination and what is not. However, I commend his openness to all styles the wrestling world has to offer. While likely having personal preferences, I appreciate his willingness to try out different aspects.”
In the recent NJPW Resurgence 2024 event held on Saturday night, Gabe Kidd scored a victory over Eddie Kingston, securing the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship title.
Post-match, Kidd released a succinct yet stirring statement backstage. He declared emphatically:
“Are you taking notice now? Are you all paying attention now? If you think I’m not superior to Eddie, are you out of your minds? It did not take me long to prove my worth. How long did it take? Not at all. I am ready to defend this title against anyone. Anyone.”
