The NWA Inks Contract with Taylor Rising and Ruthie Jay

The first-class professional wrestling organization, National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), has confirmed that they have signed contracts with Taylor Rising and Ruthie Jay, two rising stars in wrestling.

This news comes amid the NWA steadily acquiring a number of wrestling talents in recent times, including Kenzie Page, Eric Smalls, Natalia Markova, Colby Corino, The Immortals, among others.

The complete announcement is provided below:

“Ahead of ‘NWA 76’, National Wrestling Alliance Signs Ruthie Jay, Taylor Rising
The National Wrestling Alliance takes pride in promoting the quickest rising, most gifted women in the professional wrestling sphere.
Today, we’re excited to announce the acquisition of stars Ruthie Jay and Taylor Rising, thereby solidifying the future of our women’s division. Both competitors became part of the NWA family in 2023 and swiftly rose to championship contention.

“As always, the National Wrestling Alliance is committed to giving fans the absolute top female athletes in professional wrestling,” remarks Joe Galli, NWA’s Chief Operating Officer.

“Ruthie Jay and Taylor Rising currently rank among NWA’s most promising young talents,” adds Galli. “Securing their signatures ensures that our women’s division will continue to deliver some of the most exhilarating, high-impact action in the entire NWA for a considerable amount of time in the future.”

Ruthie Jay has already made several attempts to unseat NWA Women’s World Champion Kenzie Paige (who also recently formalized her commitment to the NWA). Born in Haiti, “The Five Star Athlete” remains an enduring challenge for single championships, while her team with partner La Rosa Negra poses a formidable threat to the Women’s World Tag Team Titles.

Taylor Rising, a Canadian native, made her NWA debut in the 2023 Burke Invitational Gauntlet. Despite not winning the Women’s TV and World Tag titles, her long-term, exclusive contract allows her more opportunities to establish herself within the NWA.

Both women’s participation in NWA 76, which takes place at Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena on August 31, has been confirmed. This event celebrates the founding of the National Wrestling Alliance in 1948, with anticipation building for one of the NWA’s foremost Signature Live Events of the year.

All NWA titles are expected to be defended at NWA 76. This event, which will be recorded for future airing on NWA’s Tuesday night primary program NWA Powerrr, promises exciting spectacle for fans. Tickets are now available.”
