The Miz Turns On John Morrison, Beats Him Up

In a stunning turn of events during tonight’s episode of WWE RAW, The Miz turned his back on his friend and someone who has been with him for a long time in John Morrison.

During a heated segment of “Moist TV” with Logan Paul as the special guest, The Miz interrupted Morrison’s show, and the two partners shared some intense words about their recent issues. Morrison again accused The Miz of faking his injury, and the former WWE Champion countered by claiming that instead of fighting for titles, he’s been carrying drip sticks. Xavier Woods quickly ended the argument by interrupting the duo to begin his scheduled match against The Miz.

During the bout, Morrison tried his best to help, but he was unable to lead The Miz to victory. Instead, “Johnny Drip Drip” cost The Miz the match when he distracted the referee at the wrong moment. This mistake allowed Woods to roll The Miz up for the win. After the match, Morrison attempted to apologize to his friend for not being able to keep Woods from winning, and The Miz seemed to forgive him, as he told Morrison to go get the drip sticks.

The two men then began spraying down the crowd before The Miz suddenly attacked Morrison. He beat his friend down and planted him with an emphatic Skull-Crushing Finale to make it fairly clear that their days as a team are over.

The Miz and Morrison are three-time tag team champions, dating back to their initial run from 2007-2009. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter named the duo the Tag Team of the Year in 2008.

Later in the show, Morrison stated that he’s going to end this next week when he gets his hands on The Miz.
