Riddle Defeats AJ Styles, RK-Bro Stands Tall

The duo of RK-Bro came out on top at SummerSlam, and the new WWE RAW Tag Team Champions once again came out on top during tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW, as Orton helped Riddle take down AJ Styles.

In a singles match between Riddle and Styles, both athletic superstars went at it from the very beginning. Clearly still angry about their loss at SummerSlam, Styles took over early, landing a Sunset Flip and Styles Clash onto Riddle that stunned his opponent. Riddle was able to survive though, taking things outside of the ring for a bit before both superstars saw their partners help out.
Late in the match, Riddle went up top after knocking down Styles, but froze up after getting into a staring match with Omos, allowing Styles to knock him down. A visibly angry Randy Orton then stepped in, attacking Omos and getting into a brawl that resulted in Omos hurling Orton into the metal stairs at ringside.
Orton quickly got up, though, and attacked Omos with Riddle’s scooter, which distracted both Omos and Styles long enough for Riddle to scoop him up from behind and hit a forward-facing Tombstone Piledriver onto him for the win. Afterward, Orton then got another hit in when he hit Styles with a surprise RKO to close out the night.
