The Miz appeared on a WWE TLC preview special episode of WWE’s The Bump. As Mr. Money in the Bank, he had a lot to say about Drew McIntyre’s WWE Championship Match with AJ Styles. In one highlight, The Miz stated that WWE RAW’s ratings would increase if/when he wins the WWE Championship:
“I will successfully defend the WWE Championship and be the WWE champion that Monday Night RAW needs.,” said The Miz. “And the ratings will go up.”
“The A-Lister” also had an interesting stance on his recent matches on the red brand. He said that they’re not important because he’s biding his time until he cashes in the Money in the Bank briefcase. “Right now, it’s all fun and games,” said The Miz. “Every match that I have right now does not matter until I cash in the Money in the Bank Contract.”
Plus, The Miz compared his current reign with the briefcase to his first one, which came ten years ago. He argued that he’s grown a lot in the time that has passed. “This time I feel like I’m more educated, I know what it takes to be a WWE Champion because I’ve been there before,” said The Miz. “When you’re a rookie WWE Champion, you feel like you know, and everyone tells you certain things, but you feel like you know, I’m there, I’m already there. I wasn’t there. Now I’m there. I know what it takes. I know what you have to do and have to be to be a WWE Champion.”
Clearly, The Miz feels confident with the Money in the Bank contract in his hands. Fans will have to wait and see what happens when he cashes it in.
