The Great Khali is now a WWE Hall Of Famer.
WWE India made the announcement earlier today, as former manager and WWE writer Dave Kapoor (Ranjin Singh) was on hand and broke the news to Khali.
Khali was with WWE between 2006-2014, and has made sporadic appearances since leaving, including at WWE Battleground in 2017 to assist then-WWE Champion Jinder Mahal in a Punjabi Prison match, and again in 2018 at The Greatest Royal Rumble. He is a one-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, holding the title for 61 days in 2007.
Current plans for this year’s ceremony will see both the 2020 and 2021 Hall Of Fame classes inducted in a closed cermony at the WWE ThunderDome. The Great Khali joins Eric Bischoff and Molly Holly in the 2021 WWE Hall Of Fame class, while the 2020 class includes JBL, British Bulldog, Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger, nWo (Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman) and the Bella Twins.
