Seth Rollins Feels Insulted By Daniel Bryan, Wants To Retire Rey Mysterio First

Seth Rollins made the move to Friday Night SmackDown earlier this month, when the superstar was drafted over by the brand. After a quiet start, Rollins attempted to get Daniel Bryan to side with him last week, a move that resulted in Rollins being attacked by Bryan, Rey & Dominik Mysterio, and his former disciple Murphy. According to Rollins, though, he’s more focused on making sure he ends Mysterio’s career before addressing the issue with Bryan.
Speaking during the latest episode of WWE’s The Bump, Rollins was asked about what happened with Bryan, and simply said that his only message to the superstar would be to keep out of it. “I guess my message currently is, ‘stay out of my business,’” he said (transcription courtesy of Cageside Seats). “The thing is, he came out there – I get what he was doing. He was excited to be on SmackDown and the new roster and all that stuff. But he had conveniently left out my name. You know, Daniel Bryan and I go back a long way, and I felt a bit insulted by the fact that he didn’t mention someone who had been a big part of his career in a lot of different places. So, I took exception to it and I let him know about it.”
Touching on it further, Rollins said that his only goal at the moment is to finish business with Mysterio, and that he’ll take care of other things afterwards. “As of now, obviously, like we just mentioned with the Mysterios, I’ve got some unfinished business there, so I hope that he stays away. I don’t need any more thorns in my side while I finish that up. But afterwards, once I’m done hopefully retiring Rey Mysterio once and for all – we can pick up where we left off.”
